Their life. Their personality.
Their story, beautifully told.
I’ll take the time to really get to know the person you loved, through you – hearing the stories, the quirks, the things they always said and the moments that made you laugh. Then I’ll weave it all together, bringing their personality to life in a ceremony that feels warm, honest and unmistakably them.
A farewell that feels right
There is no set formula for saying goodbye. A celebrant-led funeral gives you the freedom to create a ceremony that truly reflects the person you knew and loved - with the stories, music, readings, humour and personal touches that feel right for them and for your family.
If you're planning a memorial or celebration of life, I can also help you create something completely personal, in a place and at a time that feels right for you.
From our first conversation
to the day itself.
We have a chat
I’ll start with a quick phone call to introduce myself and arrange a time for us to meet. Then we’ll sit down together – usually at home, if that feels right – and you can tell me all about the person you loved.
There’s no rush and no right or wrong way to do it. I’ll listen, ask questions and help you think about the ceremony, including any music, readings or contributions from family and friends.
I write the ceremony
I’ll take everything you’ve shared with me and carefully bring it together into a ceremony that captures the person you knew. I’ll send the script to you before the funeral, so you can read it in your own time and we can make any changes you’d like.
I’ll also liaise with the funeral director and anyone else involved, so you don’t have to worry about keeping everything on track.
On the day
I’ll arrive in plenty of time, make sure everything is as it should be and I’ll be there to guide you through every step.
Then I’ll lead the ceremony with warmth and calm, giving you the space to simply be there with your family and friends, and remember the person you’ve come to say goodbye to.

- Liaison with the funeral director, crematorium or burial site
- A beautifully presented keepsake copy of your ceremony script
- Early arrival on the day, and leading the ceremony with warmth and calm
Local travel is included. For funerals further afield, travel costs will be confirmed with you individually.
I also offer other ceremonies, including memorials, celebrations of life, and the scattering or interment of ashes.
Every ceremony begins with a conversation.
I’d love to hear about the person you’re saying goodbye to.
